1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Verdant ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, share, or distribute any of the following:

5. Upload Review and Moderation

Upload availability and moderation depend on instance configuration. Some instances validate uploads only for file type and size before storage. Others may use an operator-managed moderation process or a configured content scanner. Do not assume every instance performs automated scanning.

If content violates these Terms, instance policy, or applicable law:

6. User Reports

Users may report messages they believe violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by the Verdant team. False or abusive reports may result in action against the reporting account.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

Verdant reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice. Accounts that violate upload, safety, or legal policies may be suspended. You may request account deletion at any time through the application settings.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Verdant a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service. You must not upload content you do not have the rights to share.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Verdant does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the application.
